A few days ago I have placed an order at Newegg. The order has been cancelled and my account suspended in the transaction verification process. Both order cancellation and account suspension come as a surprise to me, totally unjustified. A week before I made another order which has been duly paid by using the very same payment method and delivered to me without any problems. I’d like know what went wrong with verification so I may adjust my account information accordingly to comply with Newegg requirements. I would have expected some dialogue with support rather than abrupt account suspension. I found the manner in which the suspension has been done insulting and unsettling.
Support is non-existent, support agents are just quoting their two-bit script books and lying about getting back in 1-2 business days. What is interesting that account suspension is a mass phenomenon, just google “newegg failed verification account suspended” or search on Twitter and you will find thousands of horror stories.
